The PGR is a genetic reporting tool I designed to explain important medical information to patients so they could better understand diseases and conditions they are at risk for. Genome Sequencing companies can license this product to help their patients. Patients can also use this tool with their partner in family planning.
Such a tool can be used by patients to:
-discover disease risk and develop a plan of care with their doctor
-learn about important information in the genetic code
-identify medication allergies, sensitivities and side effects
-identify risks for various cancers
It is my hope that this genome reporting tool will give patients greater power to make good healthcare decisions and stay healthy.
